I'm Amy L., the breeder behind Lindow Schnauzers located in Spring City, UT. We believe dogs should be bred with a purpose. Our goals are to preserve the Miniature Schnauzer breed according to the written AKC standard, to provide quality dogs for responsible, loving homes, and to give our pups the best possible start we can in order to reach their potential in the future.
Q. & A. with Amy
Why did you start breeding?
We have always loved dogs, and the Miniature Schnauzer has been one of our favorite breeds. We fell in love with their spirited personalities, their family fit, sturdiness, health and entertaining characters. We decided we wanted to show in fun conformation events and work to preserve the breed and all the wonderful qualities it has and breed as close to the written standard as possible.
What makes your program special?
We care very much about genetics, but also believe that a good dog doesn't end there. There is so much that goes into breeding and raising a litter of puppies to give them the best start possible and ability to reach their potential. We try very hard to give our pups an advantage by providing ENS, early training, desensitization, socialization and exposure to all kinds of kids, adults, dogs, etc.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are salt and pepper. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“The puppies that we place in "puppy homes" have a limited registration, are not allowed to be bred, & are required to be neutered. The puppies we place in "show homes" are sold with breeding rights. The deposit is a good faith payment to show your sincerity in and commitment to caring for your future puppy. We do not ask for nor accept deposits before a puppy is selected as a good option for you.”
