I'm Lisa B., the breeder behind Lisa Buxton located in El Cajon, CA. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts excited to share our passion and purpose through our breeding program. Our dachshunds are raised in our home as part of our family, ensuring they receive plenty of love, care, and socialization. We take pride in thoughtfully matching each puppy with a family that perfectly fits their unique personality.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    It took forever for me to find someone trustworthy when I purchased my first doxie. Everyone should be able to experience these loyal dogs with honesty and trustworthiness and that's what I provide.

  • What makes your program special?

    We live in a small neighborhood with our 6 dachshund puppies that are registered with the city. They are all spoiled by our 3 teens and are living their best life! We literally take them everywhere and people say they’re Instagram superstars! We breed them on occasions. And are selective about who we home them with.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include miniature and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, gray (blue) and tan, black and tan, blue and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Lisa

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lisa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,050 - $3,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.
