We found our new fur family member through Michelle's "Little Brats," and we couldn't be happier with the experience. Growing up in Japan, I've always had Shiba Inus around since I was a child, so I had been specifically looking for a Shiba Inu puppy for a couple of months. When I first reached out to Michelle, she responded quickly and answered all of my questions. She also told me about the puppy's siblings and kept great communication throughout the entire process. She was very transparent about each puppy's personality. The puppy we chose was the smallest of the litter but also the most energetic and fierce one (lol) while all of her siblings were super calm and easygoing. Michelle even sent us videos of the puppies playing so we could see their personalities for ourselves. Her descriptions were spot on, so nothing was a surprise when we brought our puppy home. We knew we were bringing home a tiny dinosaur, and we couldn't be happier. She kept us updated on our puppy's health, eating habits, and development, and regularly sent us photos and videos, which we really appreciated. All of her puppies receive regular veterinary care and are kept up to date on vaccinations before going to their new homes. One thing that really impressed us was how well our puppy was prepared. She came crate trained, which made the transition so much easier. Michelle even told us her current bedtime routine, and on our very first night, we put her in her crate at bedtime and she went right to sleep. One thing we are especially grateful for is that Michelle personally flew our puppy to us. Because of a family scheduling conflict, we couldn't travel to pick her up. Michelle offered to bring the puppy herself if we covered the flight. The only direct flight we could find left her town at 6:00 a.m. I felt so bad because she would have to wake up so early (3am?! 4am?) to make the flight, but she just laughed and said it was okay because she's a morning person. She flew in, handed our puppy over, and flew back home just a couple of hours later. What made this even more meaningful is that she had recently undergone surgery and still needed wheelchair assistance to get around, yet she still offered to make the trip and worked with us to find a date and time that fit everyone's schedule. We are incredibly grateful. I also think it made the trip much less stressful for our puppy to have someone familiar with her during the flight. Even after bringing our puppy home, Michelle has continued to answer all of my questions. It's obvious how much she cares about her dogs and puppies. Our puppy is playful, confident, affectionate, and full of personality, and I truly believe she had a wonderful start because of the care Michelle gave her. At one point, we asked if we could bring our puppy home about a month later than the recommended pickup date because of our schedule. Michelle explained why she recommends puppies go home at a certain age, especially when it comes to bonding with their new family. Looking back, we're so glad we followed her recommendation. Our puppy trusted us almost immediately and adjusted to her new home far more easily than we expected. Something else that really stood out to me is that Michelle stays in touch with many of the families who have adopted her puppies over the years. She loves getting updates on how they're doing, and some of the families even get together for puppy reunions from time to time. I think that says a lot about the kind of breeder she is. She truly cares about every puppy long after they leave for their new homes. We are so happy we found our puppy through Michelle's "Little Brats" and are incredibly grateful for everything Michelle did for us and for our puppy. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a happy, healthy, and well loved puppy.

Michelle deserves the most glowing review possible. From the very beginning, she was professional, communicative, and incredibly thoughtful throughout the entire process. She truly cares about her dogs and it shows in every detail. Meeting her at the Denver airport to pick up Sonny was such a smooth and reassuring experience. She arrived completely prepared — Sonny was calm, clean, confident, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious he had been raised with intention and love. Sonny came to me: - Up to date on all of his vaccinations - With clear health records and documentation - Already well socialized - Comfortable with handling and new environments - Started on foundational training. For a young puppy, his temperament was remarkable. He wasn’t fearful, reactive, or overwhelmed — just curious, alert, and sweet. You could tell Michelle had put in real work on early socialization and structure. He had a great foundation with crate exposure, basic manners, and confidence-building. What stood out most is that Michelle doesn’t just breed puppies — she sets them up for success. She was transparent, responsive to questions, and clearly invested in making sure Sonny transitioned smoothly into his new home. Even after the handoff, she remained supportive and available. If you’re looking for a breeder who prioritizes health, temperament, early training, and responsible practices, Michelle is exceptional. Sonny has been such a joy, and I’m incredibly grateful for the strong start she gave him. I would recommend her without hesitation.
