I'm Jesi A., the breeder behind Little Lovers Kennels, LLC located in El Sobrante, CA. We raise our dogs with love in our home. We have high expectations for our pups and strive to pair each one with a loving family. In order to start our puppies off on the right paw, we begin training and socializing at a young age so they are set up for success in their new homes. We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies and follow all appropriate puppy health protocols.
Q. & A. with Jesi
Why did you start breeding?
Growing up we have always had pets. Cats, horse, dogs, turtles, birds. My Mom was an active animal rescuer. I wanted to introduce my daughter to having her own pet when she was 6. At that point we surprised her with Sugar a Chocolate Pom who stole our hearts. Our family was thrilled with the joy she brought us and with this we wanted to help other families find the joy that we found in Sugar.
What makes your program special?
Our pets are free range (sounds weird). However many programs you rarely see the parents. We hate that. Our family never cages except for bed time. On our social media sites we like to bring others into our daily life style not only with puppy pictures but regular photos of the parents as well. Pets are our family and we want that to be known.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Little cookie we got a few weeks ago has been a great addition to our family. She is doing real well and to our surprise our other little dog just loves her and they play a lot together. She is gaining weight and has been to the vet for updated shots and all. She has bonded real well with me, loves going on walks and has big bursts of puppy energy. So glad we have her.
