I'm Cynthia K., the breeder behind Livingston Kennels located in Parrish, FL. Our love for our dogs drove our desire to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others. Our litters are raised in our home. We have a large fenced yard that our sire and dams run and play. We have great neighbors that come out to visit with our litters from 4 weeks old until they go to their furever homes. We offer free boarding to our local owners rather then have they worry about their puppy in a commercial kennel. We work with our litters at 4 weeks on grooming paws and combing their fur. We enjoy our litters and we are available for questions at anytime after your puppy goes home.
Q. & A. with Cynthia
Why did you start breeding?
My first dogs a a child came off farmland in Virginia and Pennsylvania. They had fleas, ear infections or other mild puppy things. I always thought there should be a better way to raise puppies. Where they were healthy 100% and socialized to a home rather then mainly outdoors. I also love babies. It takes effort to raise them but the reward when their new family sends news of them makes my heart happy.
What makes your program special?
Our litters are planned. We love on the puppies daily and work with them daily on basic commands. We start potty training at 5 weeks. My sons, husband, neighbors and friends all help socializing the litters. When our pups leave us they are ready and confident. They are adorable and cute. But more importantly they are ready to live in a home. They are ready to go on adventures with their new families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and white, gold and white, black and white, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
