Meet the breeder

I'm Gigi C., the breeder behind Lola’s House of Bostons & Rescue located in Anderson, SC. We love this unique and amazing breed and it warms our hearts to help people add them to their families. WE ARE A 501(c)(3) NON-PROFIT (ADOPTION FEES ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE) and do not have to breed for income, so all of our proceeds from puppy sales and adoptions go to charitable animal rescues. We get to do what we love and also help dogs in need while making families happy! Ask about our Guardian Home Program!

Q. & A. with Gigi

  • Why did you start breeding?

I found my calling to raise Boston Terriers when I lost my beloved Lola, Boston Terrier, suddenly and BT rescues wouldn’t adopt to me because I foster children and have a big dog in my home. I was devastated because I’ve worked in dog rescue for many years and never applied for a breed specifically. I wanted another Boston because I just loved my goofy Lola's personality! I told them I would buy 2 and have a house full! Now I am a designated 501c3 non profit rescue & help other rescues with medical needs for less fortunate dogs with my proceeds.
  • What makes your program special?

***WE ARE NON-PROFIT 501(c)(3) AND ALL ADOPTION FEES ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE*** Other breeders have asked me how I can combine breeding with rescue? I raise high-quality puppies that can only be obtained from a breeder and share them with families while 100% of the proceeds go to help other dogs in need that are not as desirable as Bostons. WIN-WIN for everyone! I get to do what I love and shelter dogs get a second chance while families are indirectly donating to the cause! ***Make sure to ask about our Guardian Home Program!***
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I loved working with Gigi. She’s very professional and truly loves what she does. After the pups were born, she posted pictures and informative videos of the pups’ progress up until pickup. The experience was wonderful. Our little Kimi is so precious and is a really good puppy.
