Meet the breeder

I'm Diane C., the breeder behind Longbow Rottweilers located in Manhattan Beach, CA. We have very limited breedings from worthy dogs selected for their health (all OFA tests recommended for the breed are performed with clear results), breed conformation, and temperament. Rottweilers are members of our family and live in the home.

Q. & A. with Diane

  • Why did you start breeding?

After my female Rottweiler completed her AKC championship and received all her health clearances (OFA Good hips, Normal elbows, etc.) and after she had proven herself to be a biddable dog in herding, I decided to breed her and start a program using her as the foundation.
  • What makes your program special?

It is very limited and will only continue with a breeding every 3 years or so, waiting for the next generation to prove themselves in the show ring, in performance sports, and in health.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
