I'm Nick/Julie L., the breeder behind Looney Farm’s Toy & Mini Aussies located in Norwood, MO. Our pups r bred w/health & temperament in mind 4 those that are searching for an ESA. Why did you start breeding?
Aussies have always been my ❤️ dog. I didn’t give breeding full thought until 2015, after a life-altering diagnosis. After lots of research, I purchased my first breeding pair. They were more for companionship than actual breeding. Fast forward 2 years, & proper tests done, I had my first litter. My breeding program is geared towards those in need of a well bred companion.What makes your program special?
Dams receive pre/post-natal care. All parents have been DNA/health tested. The pups are raised in home, w/daily human contact, ENS to help the pup have a pos. adjustment to stress. Pups have every 2 wks checks for deworming/health checks. Age approp. shots. Health cert. ASDR app. 1-year health guarantee, 30 days of free Trupanion health ins. Registered Microchip w/no fee to buyer.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $1,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“We try our best to keep all the puppies the same price within the same litter. Breeding rights are on a case by case situation & are an added cost. Deposit is non-refundable. The deposit is non-refundable but does have the option to be moved to another puppy of the same litter or future litter at the discretion of the breeder. Cash refund will not be given.”

First of all, Julie/Nick has been incredibly helpful since day one, from the moment I reached out to them. We’re new parents to this breed, and they have been so patient, giving us plenty of great advice and regularly sending pictures and videos. You can truly tell that their hearts is full of love and pride for all the puppies and their parents dogs in their program. Each puppy is treated like their own. They also arranged the transportation for us, along with so many thoughtful items to help our puppy to settles into a new home. Not only that, but the puppies from their program are exceptional. We’re absolutely obsessed with our boy; he’s not only a such a sweet and cute boy but also very smart, playful, and incredibly snuggly. He has all the qualities we were looking for. He was even able to sit on the second day and does “stay” the third day. We are so impressed. The initial potty training provided has been a huge lifesaver for us. We took him to the vet and had his stool checked ,all clear! He’s such a healthy pup. I can’t recommend Julie/Nick enough — not only because they are responsible, professional breeder, but also because the puppies from her program are truly top-notch.
