I'm Risa E., the breeder behind Lujan Ranch located in Pahrump, NV. We are huge animal lovers and have a special place in our hearts for our dogs. We want to provide top-quality beloved companions. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got my first AKC Boston Terrier back in 2004 and absolutely fell in love with the breed. We wanted to learn more about the breed and health standards.

  • What makes your program special?

    Everything we do here on our ranch is done with love. We try our best to provide healthy, socialized and well rounded puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, lilac, blue, seal brindle and white, seal and white, black brindle and white, brindle and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Risa

Risa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Risa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Price includes first vaccines, dewormed, microchip, 1 month free pet insurance, 1 yr health guarantee and puppy care package! Deposit is non-refundable and will be applied towards the price of the puppy. Refunds will only be accepted on a case-by-case basis and only under extreme circumstances. Approval required by us prior to any refunds of deposits."

Contract & health guarantee

Risa may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Coat/Trait Panel, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
