I'm Julie G., the breeder behind Luv-N-Laughter Lhasa Apsos located in Hillsboro, OR. We love to raise our dogs in the house with us so they become well rounded and socialized family pets. We give a lot if attention to each dog and provide them with the best food, vet care and lives we can.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We first heard about the Lhasa Apso from an article in the readers digest and shortly after on vacation some friends had a litter of puppies and one was available. We ended up taking her home and our lives have never been the same. The Lhasa breed made its way into our hearts and lives and we have owned or bred now for over 30 years.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are pets first and foremost. They sleep on our beds or at the foot of the bed, they are out our laps when we sit for a spell. We buy each of them toys for chirstmas (and other times) and we play with them. When we breed we look at the health before we decide to breed. All our puppies are born either in my room or living room with someone in attendance and raised in the living room with us. They are all part of our family

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include brindle and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Julie

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,050 - $1,450 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes the puppy is healthy at time of sale, a vet check, age appropriate vaccines and wormings as well as socialization. The deposit is non-refundable.”

Julie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     What a wonderful experience I have had working with Luv & Laughter. I have had my darling Lhasa, Daisy, for one week and am crazy about her! Now 10 weeks old, she is beautiful, affectionate, well mannered, and smart. Julie was terrific sending me photos as Daisy grew. I asked many questions. Julie was always available, ready and willing to answer these. Upon pickup, we noticed how clean, organized, and odor free the breeders home was. All pets there, were well cared for. We went home for our 5 hour drive with a basket full of food, treats, comfort toys, blanket, and folder with Daisy’s important breeding and health information. My husband and I had a great experience. Daisy has fit right into our home. Our children are crazy about her too. I would highly recommend Luv&Laughter for anyone interested in a darling Lhasa Apso.

    Julie was fantastic to work with. We had a bit of a misunderstanding to begin with, but once things were cleared up she was awesome! She gave me great descriptions of the pups so I could pick the right one for me, sent me regular updates of my little girl, gave me great advice for pups (Lhasa's in particular), and sent us home with the cutest little care package. My little one came with vaccines started and a clean bill of health from a vet. Would absolutely come come back in the future for another pup from her.

    Cosmo (Rhett) has been such an amazing addition to our family. He is the best little boy. There was only a couple days from when we found the listing to when we got to take him home since he was already 10 weeks, but the short amount of time we interacted with Julie and her mom was great. They were very friendly and welcoming and answered all our questions. When we went to pick him up you could tell they really cared about their dogs and the breed in general. We really liked that the puppies were born and raised in the house and he was well socialized. He's happy and healthy and we just love him to pieces. Thank you for everything, Julie!
