Meet the breeder

I'm Amanda C., the breeder behind MagPie Cavaliers located in Texas. We’re so excited to be able to help families experience the longtime loyalty of welcoming a new puppy into their lives! We just adore this breed and can't wait to share our love for them with you! We are passionate breeders and are dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices. We do all that we can to make sure our pups get the best care and go to the best homes!

Q. & A. with Amanda

  • Why did you start breeding?

When adopted our first parti poodle so many many of our family and friends were amazed that a poodle came marked this way. And it started people asking would ever consider having a litter. After careful consideration and visitation with our vet we decided to research everything about breeding the poodles. That is where we are today. Except now we have switched our focus to the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. An amazing companion dog, we can’t imagine life without them.
  • What makes your program special?

We participate in the “super dog” early neurological stimulation program and have for almost 15 years. We are very hands on. Our dogs live inside our home, and our puppies are raised in our very large sunroom with access to every sound and sight. They are bathed, groomed, and photos and videos taken to keep the new families updated. And will be vaccinated and vet checked before leaving.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, black and tan, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
