I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience with Maggie Ashe at Mardox Dachshunds. From the very beginning, Maggie was amazing — she kept us updated every week with pictures and messages about our puppy’s growth and personality. Her communication was always prompt, kind, and full of excitement, which made the whole experience so special.
When our puppy, Beau Bleu, was six weeks old, Maggie welcomed us to come visit and spend time with him. The moment we met Maggie and Beau, we knew in our hearts that we had made the right choice. Maggie’s warmth and genuine love for her dogs was immediately clear, and Beau was everything we could have hoped for and more.
Maggie went above and beyond to make sure we had a healthy, well-socialized puppy and that we felt completely prepared for his homecoming. She was always available for questions and offered so much helpful advice along the way. When the big day finally arrived to bring Beau home, everything was ready — all his paperwork and vaccination records, plus the sweetest basket filled with toys, treats, food, and a soft blanket. It was such a thoughtful touch that showed how much Maggie truly cares about her puppies and the families they go to.
We are so thankful to Maggie for giving us our beautiful Beau Bleu. He’s happy, healthy, and has the best temperament — a true reflection of the love and care he received from day one. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more wonderful breeder.

Maggie was such a nice person. She kept in touch with me including sending photos during the process of adopting my new dachshund pup! I’ve had “Leah” for about 3 1/2 weeks and she is doing wonderful. She had a great report at the Vet I brought her too. Very healthy and I think she’s very happy to be here with me and my husband, as well as, two other older dogs and a cat.
I recommend her highly and would absolutely return if we decide to get another puppy! Thank you, again Maggie, for our beautiful addition to our family!

I had such a great experience getting my puppy from Maggie! She was so kind, easy to talk to, and clearly puts a lot of love into raising her dogs. Maggie even sent us off with a welcome bag that had toys, treats, and other thoughtful goodies—it really meant a lot. I could tell right away that she truly cares about her pups. . I took my pup on his first vet visit this week and he is perfectly healthy. I’m so happy I found Maddox Dachshunds and would absolutely recommend Maggie to anyone looking for a wonderful breeder!
