I'm Alice M., the breeder behind MarshDancer's Beautiful Babes Shiba Inu located in Lake Havasu City, AZ. I have loved, shown, breed, trained Shiba Inus for 27 years. All my Beautiful Babes are in home, hand raised. I own the Parents who are FCI registry (Foreign) and they are from Japan, France, Italy, Poland. The quality of my dogs is the most important. That they are loving, energetic happy babes. Their body is the correct conformation, with beautiful head, tail, etc. Our dogs are bred to have top qualities that all families want in their puppies, such as compassion, patience, and love! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since! My process is sending an application and information pages to your personal mail. I will want calls with you and all those that will be involved with my Babes. Also video calls so you can see my Babes, their Parents, and their home environment. You will only be asked for a deposit when we both agree that this Beautiful Babe is the right fit for a life time of love, approved by us both, (Good Dog is the one pushing the deposit right now not me.) We will arrange how you will get your Babe. We have many options to choose from. I truly love the Shiba Inus, I truly love our Beautiful Babes, and You will too. We never have our Babes available until 3.5 months or older. This makes a puppy very more trained for you in potty needs, sleeping needs, doggie door needs, shots, happier to get along with You, Family, other animals, and in general life.   • What makes your program special?

    I work at having the top champion lines. I work at keeping the original Shiba traits prominent. I work at having great temperaments'. I work at Our Beautiful Babes are a happy, fee loving, funny, sweet , intelligent Shibas perfect for Your family

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, black and tan, and sesame. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Temperament Test

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Profile

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I wanted to take a moment to reflect on a journey that has been both heartbreaking and healing. In 2011, I lost my best furry friend, and the pain of that loss is something I carry with me to this day.
