I'm Andrea M., the breeder behind McCloud’s Poodles & Doodles located in Huntington, WV. Our breeder focus is simple. We place high value on health, temperament, socialization and exposure to produce puppies ready to transition easily into the lives of their new families.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up loving animals, but puppies and dogs stole my heart. There is nothing better than coming home to a wagging tail and wiggling butt to brighten the day. I knew I wanted to put my heart and soul into raising happy healthy puppies that offer comfort and companionship for everyone.

  • What makes your program special?

    I apply my life and medical experiences to my puppy program. Only the best of the best are added as breeding parents. We follow the Badass Breeder Puppy Culture ENS/ESI program and Baxter and Bella training program. We make sure our puppies go home healthy, happy, comfortable and socialized to everyday life style.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cavapoo puppies include cream, black and tan, tri-color, brown, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Andrea

Andrea has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes AKC reg (if applicable), written health guarantee, first vet exam with first puppy vaccines, go-home puppy pack, and lifetime breeder support. A deposit is to place your pick of puppy from the litter. The deposit is non refundable but may be transfered to another litter. The deposit will be deducted from the purchase price of the puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Andrea may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Amy was just an amazing person to work with. She was so communicative and responsive with questions we had. We were able to very quickly connect by phone to discuss the little one we were interested in and she was as much interested in us as we were her. She wanted to make sure her baby was going to a great home. After our first phone meeting there was no doubt I would like to work with Amy. As we already have 2 cavapoos and 1 mini golden doodle, I knew a little about the breed, and this was not our first rodeo with finding a dog. We had had several other experiences with larger breeders that were not nearly as good and easy to work with as Amy. She sent multitudes of pictures, -whether Elle was sleeping, playing with members of her family or going to the vet. Her dogs are so well socialized with her family, as when we finally were able to pick up Elle, she fit right in with our family. I can't recommend Amy and McClouds Poodles and Doodles highly enough. Amy and I still keep in touch, I share pictures of Elle who is now 6 months and if I have a question, Amy is always responsive to answer. One can not go wrong and should not look any further than McClouds Poodles and Doodles for their next fur baby!

    Andrea was so responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful! She made me very comfortable about my first online pet purchase and answered all of my questions! I love that these dogs are brought up in the home with family and you can tell she really cares about them! Andrea sent me photos/ videos and updates of my puppy while I waited for her arrival.     Andrea was incredibly responsive, and it was clear right away that she is very knowledgeable about the breed. She quickly arranged a video call so I could meet the puppy shortly after I reached out, which I really appreciated. The entire process was smooth, easy, and stress-free. I was a little nervous about bringing a puppy home with three small kids, but Andrea was absolutely right about the temperament.
