I'm JoAnna, the breeder behind McCormack Morkies located in Athens, AL. All of our puppies are raised using ENS (early neurological stimulation) & Puppy Culture protocols. Puppies have started potty training. They have health tested parents & will come with a health guarantee + lengthy contract that includes lifetime breeder support. Why did you start breeding?
I am a huge dog lover and wanted to bring joy to other people’s lives through dogs like my own — dogs from impeccable lines with unique colors & great health.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised in our home and truly become family; we are very attached to our babies. We keep their whelping pen in our bedroom & make sure it stays very clean (puppy pad & litter training). Puppies are extremely well socialized; they even cuddle in bed with us for a few hours every night. Our puppies are exposed to people of all ages and dogs of all sizes.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black & tan tri-color, white, black and gold, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Wisdom Panel, Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
