I'm Michelle L., the breeder behind McMiesz located in Williamsburg, VA. They will be vet checked and receive appropriate vaccinations before allowed to leave home. They will go home with AKC registration papers, veterinarian letter of good health and food. Health is guaranteed for a year after purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, the pup must be returned to me.
Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
In the past I bred champion terriers and later fell for Bostons. They are companion animals.
This All-American, terrier-bulldog mix has a sparky personality, love and loyalty that carries on into old age. They're wash and wear with little shedding and always look sharp and clean. Everyone should experience the happiness a Boston Terrier can bring into their lives.
What makes your program special?
Health and disposition are considered most important while breeding for conformation and adhering to breed standard. I am selective in finding proper mates. My program is very small and my animals are not caged unless necessary. Genetic testing is important with a good understanding of the health issues addressed. Ideally, every litter should produce an improvement in health, conformation and/or disposition.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are seal brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
