Meet the breeder

I'm Megan B., the breeder behind Megans Labradors located in Ste. Genevieve, MO. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. The foundation of our breeding program starts with raising healthy and well-loved dogs. We aim to pass the same happiness of owning a quality-bred dog to our buyers.

Q. & A. with Megan

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always had a love for labs. We grew up with them in our home for as long as I can remember. I got my first lab that I was to care for when I was 5 and he was with me for 15 years after that, I would say he’s the reason for my addiction. From working in a vet clinic I see the good and bad of breeding so I strive to only be the best.
  • What makes your program special?

We offer only health tested and OFA certified parents to produce our puppies. We offer 30 days of free pet insurance through Trupanion, 24 month health guarantee & hip/elbow contract. Puppies are exposed to many other species and every day life. We also offer lifetime help/support to the best of our ability in caring for your new addition.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Labrador Retriever puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Dilute Retriever puppies include silver, charcoal, black, chocolate, and champagne. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
