I'm Stacey M., the breeder behind Meihem Pups located in Bloomfield, IN. I just adore Shih Tzus and can't wait to share my love for them with you! I am a passionate breeder and am dedicated to maintaining responsible breeding practices. I do all that I can to make sure my pups get the best care and go to the best homes!
Q. & A. with Stacey
Why did you start breeding?
I have always wanted to breed and raise my own puppies. I'm also a Labor and Delivery nurse and have always had a passion for bringing new life into the world. Breeding these beautiful Shih Tzus allows me to combine all my passions into one awesome endeavor, ensuring that I produce the best puppies I can.
What makes your program special?
My puppies are raised in my home, on my farm. We have many different farm animals, and my puppies are socialized from an early age with all of them. We also have a busy household so the puppies get lots of love from multiple people on a daily basis. I test my parent dogs through Embark to ensure my babies have the lowest chances of inheriting a genetic disorder.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Meihem Pups had exactly what was advertised, the perfect addition to our small family, the Breeders/Owners at Meihem Pups are just amazing. I ran late to our meet spot, I let Meihem Pups know, upon greeting our Cal that he looks exactly like the pictures that were sent to me everyday (or as much as I requested). Seeing Cal for the 1st time was just the best experience ever because I did not want to be a Customer who had paid for Quantity instead of Quality. Cal’s Breeder & Owner does not disappoint 😊. Meihem Breeders are some of the kindest and honest people I have come across in a long time. Since this is not my first puppy that will eventually be an adult Shi Tzu one day, I know that puppies can take after the Breeders’. In this case and for this Breeder, I would tell you: let it happen. The Owner/Breeder of Meihem Pups really does integrate their Shi Tzus into their family. Cal is absolutely perfect. The owner is doing her passion: raising AKC animals that bring absolute joy or bring back joy where it was missing in maybe your life or family. For me Meihem Pups, I know are the real deal & the Owner of Meihem Pups brought joy back into our family where it was missing mainly for me (Mom). While Cal is an awesome addition to my family, Cal is my companion and we go everywhere together (pet approved airport strollers and backpacks 😊). He turned 11 weeks on Saturday, our first available appointment with our town Vet is Friday. Cal is so smart. Stubborn, but smart. I have never run into a puppy that is not stubborn. Cal can be stubborn because he gets kissed on his cheeks so much he really knows what that because he wags his tail so hard and all I can do is smile. The only place that I cannot take Cal is on Cruise Ships. I looked.. LOL.. we may flying instead of cruising in the future. He has the perfect baby sitter: my soon to be HS graduate of 2023. Cal goes with me everywhere Starbucks, restaurants, stroller rides, the shopping mall..and now my neighbors.. and I am big on vaccinating and insuring no more puppies (I know it’s 6 months). Everywhere I go lately, I always get asked where I got Cal and I say with a proud smile: Meihem Pups. 😊 You want the link? 😁 All I wanted was a companion and I got someone even better than a companion.. I have Cal. ❤️
