I'm Michelle N., the breeder behind Michelle's Rottweilers located in Prosperity, SC. We are a small kennel and we breed for ourselves first and for anyone else that is interested in owning a rottweiler from some of the best bloodlines the world has to offer. We prefer to place our puppies in homes that are active in showing and/or working, but we will place them as pets for those that wish to have the best. We are dedicated to breeding the total rottweiler. One that has the desire and the drive to work, the conformation to dominate in the show ring and one that has the temperament to be stable in any social environment. We spare no effort to ensure our goals are met and exceeded. We aim to make our clients happy and we consider them friends for life. We mainly deal with the European bloodlines as we feel that they offer more of what we are looking for.
Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
Larry imported his first 2 females in 2003 from Germany after studying pedigrees since the late 1990's. Breeding didn't come until several yeas later. We have learned alot since then and continue to learn. He researches pedigrees to this day to ensure he breeds our female(s) to the correct male. We are a small kennel.
What makes your program special?
We do it for the love of the breed and for ourselves first to show and work. We don't do it just to sell puppies. We take first pick of a litter maybe even the first two if we can't decide on one. Then we place puppies in homes. They are raised in our home. Larry is retired Air Force and it was his dream to be able to play with puppies and show and train Rottweilers when he retired which he did in 2015 even though he started 12 years before he retired.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
