Q. & A. with Roberta

  • Why did you start breeding?

Collies are my passion, and I am devoted to doing whatever I can to preserve, protect, and improve this incredible breed. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come! It's an amazing feeling knowing that I made a positive contribution to these dogs and the families who love them.
  • What makes your program special?

I am a premier breeder of quality Collie puppies. They have the ability to excel in the show ring AND at home as the best-beloved family companions! My parent dogs are all health tested with clean genetics to guarantee you a happy, healthy, well-rounded, and beautiful Collie. I carefully hand-raise each puppy until it is ready to make the transition from my loving arms to yours! I can't wait to connect with you.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

Roberta is extremely responsive and helpful. She was in constant contact with me. She possesses a wealth of knowledge when it comes to rough collies!! Finlay is the best pup ever...loving, kind, friendly and sweet. He was very well socialized. He has a gorgeous coat of fur!

The whole process couldn’t have gone any better. And Astro (Henry) has been the easiest pup we’ve ever had. He gets along great with our Shepsky (which is hard to do) and, within a week, I was able to train him to ring the jingle bells to tell us he has to go out for potty breaks. We’ve had a total of 2 accidents in the house. Amazing.

Roberta was responsive and attentive. She answered all of my questions promptly. She was more than willing to provide references, including her veterinarian, for me to contact and ask questions. She worked with me to help get Elroy (now known as Darcy) home to us in FL. It was a very smooth process and I am very happy with our newest family member.
