I'm Michelle H., the breeder behind Mishmo's Shibas and Papillons located in San Diego County, CA. I'm a hobby show breeder and started showing my first Papillon in 2016. I strive to the improvement of the breed standard. I hand-raise all of my dogs with love in my home. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability!

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding to not only preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines but to improve the Papillon breed with each litter and do my part to ensure the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come.What makes your program special?
I focused on show quality dogs with complementary traits. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming my pups. I love what I do and truly want nothing more than to see each and every one of my puppies shine!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
