Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding through my lifelong love for animals. Growing up on a farm, working with horses, competing in rodeo, and later becoming a veterinary technician gave me a strong passion for animal care and genetics. My love for dachshunds eventually led me to want to raise healthy, happy puppies with great temperaments and give each one the best possible start in life.What makes your program special?
What makes my breeding program special is the love, knowledge, and hands-on care I give every dog and puppy. Growing up on a farm, working with horses, rodeo, and as a veterinary tech has given me a strong understanding of animal health and care. I focus on raising happy, healthy, well-socialized dachshunds in a loving environment while supporting my puppies and families every step of the way.What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
