Q. & A. with Tammy
Why did you start breeding?
I started showing dogs when I was 14 and as an adult, fell in love with the Chessies. I did research on pedigrees, found a reputable breeder, got my first Chessie and have been going strong for 16 years.
What makes your program special?
We breed for an all-purpose Chessie. Enough hunting drive to do their job, but a sound and calm enough personality to live as a family companion. We have dogs that have obtained therapy dog titles, Search and Rescue (cadavar) titles and jobs, hunting titles, obedience titles, agility titles and of course, show titles. But best of all, we have Chessies that make excellent family companions!!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
