Meet the breeder

I'm Samuel M., the breeder behind Morris Rottweilers located in Hermitage, TN. We breed high-quality puppies. We love what we do and are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. While our goal is to share loving puppies with families, we are still a selective program. We only breed when we’re sure we can produce the healthiest and best example of the breed possible.

Q. & A. with Samuel

  • Why did you start breeding?

I did some research a lot of reading on the breed. I always wanted a Rottweiler so I bought a male and bought a female and they were so smart and easy to train. They had some puppies. She had 13 puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

I only breed my females once a year. They are all apart of my family. I work with all of my dogs every day. I start my day with them from 6:30AM to 7:30PM. They all go for a walk. I started Basic obedience training with them when they were 8 weeks old. And tracking training with some of them. All of my litters I start potty training them so that it makes it easier for the new owner’s. Any puppies that I have after 8 weeks I start basic training with them. Walking with a leash, sit, down.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
