Meet the breeder

I'm Kimberly L., the breeder behind Mosaic Merle Doodles located in Lebanon, KY. We do our best to socialize and acclimate each litter so we’re able to offer all-around healthy and well-mannered puppies! We started breeding with the simple mission to breed the very best dogs that we can, to raise them with love, and to find them the perfect future homes.

Q. & A. with Kimberly

  • Why did you start breeding?

A good friend of mine made me fall in love with raising dogs! My love for animals came from my Daddy. We always had animals around our farm and home.
  • What makes your program special?

I feel my program is special because every dog is different just like our own children. I try to really get to know a family so I can personally match up not only the aesthetical aspect of a puppy but the personality they most desire. Being recommended is the best compliment any breeder can strive for in their breeding program.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Cockapoo puppies include tiny and mini sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Cockapoo puppies include merle, brown, red and white, red, and black white and tan. Maltipoo puppies include merle, black & white, and black. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate and tan, gold, and parti. Yorkipoo puppies include merle, sable, cream, chocolate, black and tan, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

If GiGi is any indication, Kimberly is a great breeder of puppies with good dispositions. The communication and process of getting my puppy went very smoothly. I am delighted. She has been sleeping through the night since she got home. BiiiiiiiGG plus. I'm taking her to socialization sessions with other puppies in the 2-4 month age range who have limited immunizations. Being 3 lbs. now, GiGi is only a third to a tenth the size of the other puppies, so during play she sometimes gets a little roughed up, but as soon as she is free, she runs to follow them and stay in the pack. The trainers are somewhat surprised, but pleased with her level of confidence. She is improving quickly with her potty training and seems to be a smart puppy.

Kimberly was amazing to work with! She sent me additional photos and set up time to video chat so I could see the puppy (and fall immediately in love with him!!!). Her son met me in Columbus with my puppy and he did a great job communicating along the way. Highly recommend!!

We named her Annie. She can listen well, when she wants too. She has been fairly easy to house train. She will sit on hand command. We started today with walking along side with me. She actually did very well. She is crate trained already. She does how ever cry and wine for a bit if I leave the house.
