I'm Alvin K., the breeder behind Mountain Breeze Puppies located in New Holland, PA. My name is Alvin King . We are a Christian family of 5 living on a small property in the beautiful Welsh mountains of PA ! Our dogs are loved and well socialized!. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others. We focus on health , temperment, confirmation and socialization!We are a PA Licensed Breeder PA Dog Law does unannounced visits twice a year to make sure our dogs are in great health and to make sure they are getting the proper care ! All puppies are sold with limited AKC registration unless otherwise agreed. License number 18607.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I bought my first dog when i was 17 . I raised a few litters and soon realized i want to do it on a professional level ! It is my passion to raise the best dogs i can !

  • What makes your program special?

    Our focus is to raise high quality AKC Cavaliers. We have some champion bloodlines and are hoping to raise lots of great show bloodlines ! Our goal is to go above and beyond with AKC registration, DNA health testing and OFA certifications .

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Alvin

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Alvin partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes, AKC Registration, Microchip, health record and signed contract as well as a small bag of food , collar , leash , blanket and chew toy. Deposits are generally non refundable but it does depend on the situation.”

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Alvin was so responsive and communicative during the entire process. From the initial questions to when we took our little girl home, he was there and super kind. The fact that he has people travel from all over the country (and out of) for his puppies says something. I asked to come and see the pups and meet our little once before we picked her up. I felt it was important to see the environment that is their home during the first months of life. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed. Alvin and his family are very sweet, not to mention, have a clean, beautiful home and property that the pups can be free to roam and enjoy. Rest assured, they are safe, loved and taken great care of.     From start to finish, Alvin was really great with communication! We appreciated his honesty, informing us of things to look for with our new pup, and was very reasonable in pricing.     Alvin was an absolute gem to work with from start to finish. He answered all of our questions and kindly obliged our (what felt like non-stop) requests for new pictures and videos of our pup Rook (formerly Harvey) as we awaited his pickup. Alvin clearly cares deeply for his dogs and when we arrived to pick up Rook we were greeted by his adult cavaliers that seemed happy and healthy as could be. His puppies were all together in a spacious playpen outside where they ran around and were having fun while we met Rook. We were extremely impressed with the level of health testing he does with his dogs, which is of the utmost importance when selecting a Cavalier puppy, and gave us comfort that he is a highly ethical and careful breeder. Could not recommend Alvin and his dogs more, Rook has been an absolute pleasure in our home with our other dog and has made everyone who has met him fall in love.
