Our program is full of attention to detail like beginning potty training as soon as the pups eyes are open & our custom built outdoor puppy obstacle course. Why did you start breeding?
Mountain Sky Goldens, a breeding program focused on producing therapy and service-quality dogs. Over the years, many of their puppies have gone on to do amazing work as therapy and service animals, continuing the Manions’ legacy of service and compassion. Golden Retrievers are one of the best breeds in the world, and Sandy and Jeff are proud to offer these incredible dogs to their community!What makes your program special?
MSG is committed to doing things the right way, studying & evolving with each litter to provide the best start possible for their pups. Each puppy does kennel, potty training,car rides, fire works, thunder,balloons,bridges ,water & tunnels ECT. It is their deep love for the positive impact these puppies can have on others that drives their work, & they take great pride in every puppy they breed.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"This price includes 1st vet check, first round of vaccines, puppy starter pack, AKC paperwork, puppy socialization plan for up to 12 weeks, & health guarantee. Therapy dog & training support included. Deposit goes towards total cost of puppy. The deposit holds your place in the puppy picking order. Even though our deposit says non refundable we decide individually by each circumstance. We want to do what is fair for both parties!"

Litter update on 12 May 2025 •…Aspen still has one boy available. The litter has been doing early scent work daily, along with early neurological exercises and of course daily snuggles. Yesterday we clipped all their tiny toe nails and the pups explored the strong smell of a banana! The litter's eyes are all starting to open. Soon we will introduce potty training at this early stage which helps pups utilize instinct to help them grasp the concept better. We will do car rides and startle recovery next. We have so much to do!

About Aspen
Our beautiful Aspen is such a gentle soul. She is very good at therapy dog work and loves to go on long car rides with me. She wants to be the head of our family pack of dogs but she is okay sitting back too. Aspen has her Canine Good Citizen title through the AKC and she is an Internationally Registered Therapy dog. She is very good at therapy work! She has recently gone through all of the steps to work at our local hospital, along with all of our adult Goldens, serving as their therapy dog! She has passed all of her health and genetic testing and her pedigree is awesome! We love this girl!

About Apollo
Apollo is our AKC Light Golden Retriever sire. He is OFA CHIC, Registered Therapy dog and has his AKC CGC title. He is a gorgeous boy who always draws attention where ever we go . We are always getting comments about how calm and well behaved he is and how beautiful he looks. Apollo has an impressive pedigree . Both of his parents are Champions and his pedigree comes our of the highly sought after Tramin Kennels in the Ukraine. Apollo is a quick learner, very obedient and the sweetest family companion. He loves meeting new people wherever he goes. His genetic testing is completely cleared through Embark Genetics. Apollo Sun Of The Mountain Sky, is OFA CHIC with GOOD/NORMAL results for all OFA heart, eyes, hips and elbows. We absolutely love this wonderful boy and are thrilled to have him be apart of our breeding program.

About Indie
Indie is incredible! She is our star out of our five Goldens while doing therapy work. Many dogs don't love to have their head hugged and kissed but Indie welcomes a good hug and kiss! People seem to sense that she is okay with it and she smiles so big when they love on her. Indie has gone through individual testing with me as her handler and with another women who Indie hardly knows. Indie is now an official Therapy dog for two different handlers! Indie has clear genetics and has passed all OFA for eyes, heart, hips and elbows! She is a natural at nurturing! We love this beautiful girl!

About Carolina
Duchess Carolina of the Mountain Sky was born June 2020 out of Ellie and Magnum's litter. She is OFA CHIC and earned her AKC CGC Title. Carolina passed her CGC with exceptional skill. She watches me so closely to give me her best. This beautiful girl is a Nationally Registered Therapy dog. She would be by my side all day if she could. Carolina has a kind and gentle temperament and is extremely intelligent. She is very obedient and loves long hikes, swimming, and exploring all over Idaho! Carolina has a beautiful light coat and has that ideal blocky head that is the Light "English Cream" trademark. As a mother, she is amazing. With her last litter of puppies, one smaller pup kept getting pushed off while he nursed with the others. Carolina learned, that if she would nuzzle her nose in between that pup and the others, he could stay on to eat. That loving attention is typical with all of her pups. She truly has a heart of Gold! Carolina has met OFA CHIC eligibility standards and is registered in the CHIC database. She has passed all OFA testing for heart, eyes, hip, and elbows. Carolina has also been cleared of all known genetic issues in Golden Retrievers through Embark genetic testing.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

Sandra from Mountain Sky Goldens was a pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond during the process of picking my puppy and after getting her home she keeps in touch to help if needed.
