I'm Amber J., the breeder behind Mountain Top Hot Tailz located in Taylorsville, NC. Our dogs are more than pets—they are cherished family members. From the moment our puppies are born, they are nurtured, socialized, and loved every single day until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours. Each of our pups has brought so much joy and happiness into our lives, and we are committed to sharing that same joy with others. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, and well-socialized puppies who will become treasured companions in their forever homes. We take pride in going above and beyond for our families. Every puppy comes with a one-year health guarantee, is vet-checked, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, and goes home with starter food and a special gift bag to help with their transition. To make the process even more personal, we welcome visits, FaceTime calls, and videos so you can watch your puppy grow and feel confident about your new family member. For families farther away, we are happy to assist with a trusted flight nanny service to safely deliver your puppy right to.

We have a huge heart for making love last a long time with our little fur babies you get a faithful friend an family I got into breeding while working for an kennel an falling in love even more every day❤️What makes your program special?
A lot of socialization is done with our babies. Moms an Dads are social. They have good tempers and great personalities.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Morkie puppies are black & tan tri-color. Yorkshire Terrier puppies include chocolate and tan, parti, and black and tan. Maltese puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Amber
Amber has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Amber was very good about communicating and answering our questions. We were a little disappointed we couldn’t come to her place to meet our Yorkie’s family but a 4-wheel drive was required and we only found out about it the day of the meet or the day before. Also, it was advertised that our pup was house trained but she really wasn’t. No biggie. All in all, it was a good experience.

Amber was really great to work with. She sure does love her dogs. I had a dog in hospice and she was nice enough to o wait with the delivery of my Morkie Taz until my other poor baby passed. It was a great experience with Amber and Gooddog.com. I had a puppy nanny fly Taz to me. He is a really great puppy. I am very happy with this experience.
