I'm Larry, the breeder behind mvshelties located in Oklahoma City, OK. Our dogs excel in the ring and as beloved companions. We are very proud of their accomplishments and those of their puppies. When we bring a life into the world, we make sure it gets the best start possible. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, but it starts even earlier than birth. We set our puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, conformation, ability, and drive. Our goal is to produce well-balanced puppies and find them loving, responsible homes.

Why did you start breeding?
Fell in love with the Sheltie breed. Wanted to breed my own dogs so I could pick the best.What makes your program special?
Many of my dogs are second and third generation.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Larry
Larry has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes AKC papers, first shots, deworming, and basic health check at 8 weeks. Puppies also have dewclaws removed. Parents have genetic testing done. Females are more expensive than males. Color headed whites are less expensive. All puppies require deposits.”
Contract & health guarantee
Larry may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. PRA, Shetland Sheepdog Type, Dermatomyositis, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
