I'm Sarah & Adam M., the breeder behind My Unique Peke located in Batesburg Leesville, SC. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable Pekingese puppies and connect loving families with their new best friends! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our families have always been "dog people"! We grew up in homes with multiple dogs. My mother and my husband's mother were both involved in rescue. My father was the Director at our local animal shelter and also raised dogs. His parents raised and showed dogs as well.

  • What makes your program special?

    We care for all our dogs like they were children. So we treat their kiddos like our grand babies! They are spoiled, well fed, protected from all harm/parasites/disease and most importantly deeply loved!

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sarah & Adam

Sarah & Adam has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sarah & Adam partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care to make sure our babies go to the best possible homes. We have an additional application we require to be completed. (It is not very long and only takes a few minutes). It just helps us get to know who our babies and going to live with and ensure it is the best possible fit for you and the puppy!”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes health guarantee, vaccines and wormer up to date with vaccine record, started on pad training and microchipped.”

Contract & health guarantee

Sarah & Adam may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Sarah & Adam were perfection to work with on the adoption of my two pekes. I had planned on getting one, but the pups were so cute I ended up with two brothers! Both Sarah & Adam were a delight to “talk to” online, answering my questions and sending me loads of pics and video. When it came time to meet we chose a place and Sarah was even more delightful in person. My babies were so cute I could not stop squealing with glee! My mother got to ride in the back with them while I was stuck driving back home wanting to hold and squeeze them :) Sarah has kept in touch and I send updates which I appreciate as it shows they truly care about their pekes. I highly recommend Sarah & Adam and would certainly get in touch them if I am ever able to get another baby.

    Both Sarah and Adam were gracious, dedicated to making DB’s transition to our home as smooth as possible. They walked me through getting him from South Carolina back to our home in Boston.     Sarah was so awesome! Easy to work with, transparent, helpful in so many ways. She provided frequent updates leading up to the time we brought our pup home. We loved our first so much we got a second one from her not long after.. and then a third 🙈 all 3 of our pekes have great personalities/temperament. We still update Sarah from time to time on how they’re all doing and love being a part of her little peke community.
