I'm Sarah & Adam M., the breeder behind My Unique Peke located in Batesburg Leesville, SC. Our mission is to raise healthy, happy, adorable Pekingese puppies and connect loving families with their new best friends! The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our families have always been "dog people"! We grew up in homes with multiple dogs. My mother and my husband's mother were both involved in rescue. My father was the Director at our local animal shelter and also raised dogs. His parents raised and showed dogs as well.

  • What makes your program special?

    We care for all our dogs like they were children. So we treat their kiddos like our grand babies! They are spoiled, well fed, protected from all harm/parasites/disease and most importantly deeply loved!

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Sarah & Adam

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Sarah was so awesome! Easy to work with, transparent, helpful in so many ways. She provided frequent updates leading up to the time we brought our pup home. We loved our first so much we got a second one from her not long after.. and then a third 🙈 all 3 of our pekes have great personalities/temperament. We still update Sarah from time to time on how they’re all doing and love being a part of her little peke community.

    If there ever was a perfect breeder, Sarah at My Unique Pekes is it! She communicated with me at least weekly about our pups progress, weight, personality and shared many pictures and videos. I was very impressed at how much she cared about the pups well being especially before being fully vaccinated. She dropped him off at the airport for us with all sorts of instructions, a puppy pack with food, blankets and toys! We will forever be grateful and regularly let Sarah know how “Ollie” is loving his new family.
