Neu-Rodes

Thomas W.

Breeder of Rottweilers

Meet the breeder

I'm Thomas W., the breeder behind Neu-Rodes located in Battle Ground, WA. Neu-Rodes: consistently ranked Top in the US in many venues including conformation. We health test and title all breeding dogs. ALL health testing is verifiable on the OFA website, you will not find flowering descriptions and catchy terms on our website- the pictures of our dogs speak for themselves. Please visit our website and contact us from there!

Q. & A. with Thomas

  • Why did you start breeding?

There were not very many breeders in the '70s and we wanted to improve the breed. We had purchased 3 Rotts from different kennels prior to finding one worthy of going forward with. Kyna became our first ARC Top Producer (Silver) and the grand-dam to CH Quick von Siegerhaus CDX SchH1, our first Gold Sire Producer.
  • What makes your program special?

Experience! ACTUAL EXPERIENCE- we have generations after generations of knowledge which makes us different than most. Many generations of health testing, and proving the temperament of each individual by titling in many working venues and proving they meet the standard in looks with those two letters in front of their names- "CH". Proof is in the pudding as they say....Neu-Rodes is an AKC Platinum level Rottweiler Breeder of Merit (only 2 to date) and has bred, owned, trained, trialed many to Top Rankings in many venues, including Conformation.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
