I'm Shelby W., the breeder behind Nightblood Aussies located in Delta, MO. Our dogs are bred for their intelligence, temperament, health, drive, and off switch. We never have more than one litter at a time so that we can dedicate all the love, time, and devotion that each puppy deserves.
Q. & A. with Shelby
Why did you start breeding?
I was raised by my mother who studied veterinary medicine and my mother’s partner who ran a kennel.
What makes your program special?
We are holistically minded. We believe in a balance of traditional and natural methods. Our pregnant dams eat a balanced raw food, we do not over vaccinate, and we only use puppy-safe cleaners free of harmful chemicals. Your puppy is never exposed to harmful ingredients in any aspect of their life.
Our goal is to create a well balanced dog who will make an amazing companion or working dog.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
