Meet the breeder

I'm Teresa f., the breeder behind NJ Cavalier King Charles Breeder located in Eatontown, NJ. Welcome to NJ Cavalier King Charles Breeder, where Cavaliers are raised with love, purpose, and a lifelong commitment to the breed. For over 25 years, I have dedicated myself to raising exceptional Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppies with a focus on health, temperament, beauty, and companionship. Breeding is not just something I do — it is truly my passion and a huge part of my life. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are known for their gentle hearts, affectionate personalities, and loyal companionship. Originally bred as royal lapdogs in the 1700s, they are happiest right beside their people, whether cuddling on the couch, following you through the house, or playing in the yard. Their loving nature, soulful eyes, and calm temperament make them incredible family companions for children, couples, and individuals alike. Every puppy I raise is treated like family from the very beginning. My puppies are born and raised inside my home, never in kennels, where they receive constant love, attention, and hands-on care every single day. They are exposed early to children, other dogs, household activity, new smells, sounds, surfaces, and everyday life to help build confidence and wonderful temperaments. Beginning around four weeks old, puppies start weaning onto puppy food and are introduced to outdoor potty routines and walking on grass. They are taken outside multiple times daily for potty training, exercise, and socialization to help create a smoother transition into their forever homes. Health and responsible breeding are extremely important to me. I proudly maintain both ACA (American Canine Association) and AKC registrations, and all stud dogs used in my program are AKC Grand Champion show dogs with beautiful pedigrees and excellent temperaments. My breeding dogs undergo extensive health testing including OFA heart and eye certifications, DNA testing, and screenings for breed-specific conditions such as Curly Coat Syndrome, Dry Eye, and Episodic Falling Syndrome. I take health testing very seriously because my goal is not only to produce beautiful Cavaliers, but healthy, happy companions that families can love for many years. Cavalier King Charles Spaniels typically weigh between 13–20 pounds and have a silky, smooth coat that comes in four stunning colors: Blenheim (chestnut and white), Ruby, Black & Tan, and Tri-Color. My program produces all four colors throughout the year depending on parent pairings. All puppies leave my home at 8 weeks old with: First vaccinations completed Deworming completed Health certification Early potty-training started Extensive socialization and handling The puppies in my litters come from AKC Registered parents and are eligible for AKC registration as well. I always encourage future puppy owners to thoroughly research the breed and make sure a Cavalier fits their lifestyle before bringing one home. These dogs thrive on love and companionship and truly become part of the family. Choosing a breeder is an important decision, and I believe what sets my program apart is the genuine love, care, and dedication that goes into every puppy I raise. My goal has always been to produce healthy, well-socialized Cavaliers that bring happiness, comfort, and unconditional love into the lives of the families who welcome them home. Because every home deserves a little royalty. 🐾.

I was so lucky to find Teresa. Because of her, I am the proud mama of Scarlett, a beautiful ruby Cavalier. Teresa is an expert on Cavaliers and breeding them is clearly a labor of love for her. She answered all my questions honestly and quickly. I visited my puppy several times before she was ready to come home. I saw what a nurturing environment Teresa creates for her dogs. The puppies were all busy playing and cuddling with their mom, grandma, and siblings. They know nothing but love. I highly recommend Teresa if you are looking for a Cavalier!
