Meet the breeder

I'm Kate B., the breeder behind Nokoluma located in Chipley, FL. More than a venture, our breeding program is a heartfelt commitment. Our journey started with a life-altering incident involving our daughter at 24 months. This moment fueled our mission: to breed not just healthy dogs but those known for gentle and loving temperaments. Dogs are cherished members of our family, and our program focuses on producing well-socialized, healthy puppies. Join us in welcoming a new furry member into your family, offering not only companionship but also joy, comfort, and unwavering companionship.

Q. & A. with Kate

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our journey into breeding is rooted in a transformative experience involving our daughter at 24 months. A severe incident with a rescue dog sparked a reevaluation of the qualities we sought in a family dog. Witnessing the impact a dog can have, we felt a calling to contribute positively to others' lives. Our decision to become breeders was a commitment to ensuring the well-being of both our dogs and the families they would join.
  • What makes your program special?

Distinguished by a passionate commitment, our breeding program aims to produce dogs that transcend the role of mere pets, becoming cherished family members. We believe a great family dog encompasses a temperament fostering love, trust, and lasting companionship. Meticulous care in breeding, from thoughtful pair selection to nurturing each litter, sets us apart. Our program emphasizes early socialization, providing not just pets but sources of joy, comfort, and unwavering companionship to families seeking a new addition. Thank you for considering our breeding program; we look forward to sharing the joy of canine companionship with your family.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Golden Retriever puppies include dark golden, golden, and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and between $550 - $3,650 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“The pricing is determined by the specific litter and coat colors. Your purchase includes limited registration (for Golden Retrievers, and poodles), vet certification, first round of vaccinations, and a puppy that has been on a deworming schedule. Placing a non-refundable puppy deposit means you're locking in a special pup for yourself! It's your way of saying, "I'm all in for this adorable furry friend!" This payment shows you're serious about bringing the pup home and helps cover some reservation costs. Keep in mind, the deposit is not refundable, but it's like putting a "reserved" sign on your chosen puppy. The deposit amount is taken off the total cost when you complete the adoption. Just make sure to check out the details before making the payment, so everyone's on the same page! 🐾.”

Kate was very helpful. She made herself available to answer any question She provided so much information orally and several pages of puppy care instructions. She reached out to find out about the puppy the day after we took him home. He is so adorable. So far no accidents. He also retrieves anything and left his food to retrieve a toy I kicked out of the way He did the same with a tennis ball. He played with my grandchildren I brushed him today and there were really no mats. It was clear he had been brushed and cared for well already We were so impressed that Kate and her husband have cattle, goats, chickens and two beautiful guard dogs also all beautiful and even the goats were named! I could tell Scott was raised in a loving atmosphere Here are some of the million pictures we took
