Q. & A. with Heather
Why did you start breeding?
As soon as I was introduced to this incredible breed, I fell in love, and I haven't looked back since! I am very serious about not only expanding my own phenomenal bloodlines, but strive to better the Flat-Coated Retriever as a whole. I am personally involved with several organizations to promote and improve this breed so that we can continue to enjoy these amazing dogs for generations more to come!
What makes your program special?
My priority is to produce quality dogs over quantity. I do not breed often, but when I do I dedicate a significant amount of time and research into the health, temperament, and pedigree of the breeding stock. I also run several health tests on them and will not breed any sire or dam without passing all of the necessary clearances. I have many years of experience with this breed and I am enthusiastic about sharing my love and knowledge of them with anybody looking to make a home for one of these incredible puppies!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
