Meet the breeder

I'm Alizah J., the breeder behind Northwoods Mystic Pawz located in Rhinelander, WI. With my focus of wanting to produce Prospective Working/Sporting Dogs that can excel in multiple areas— I prioritize Health, Structure, Temperament, and Drive. Each puppy will undergo Embark Testing, be provided with a Puppy Pack, come UTD on Age Appropriate Vaccinations, and Microchipped.

Q. & A. with Alizah

  • Why did you start breeding?

In 2018, I fell in love with my grandparents’ neighbor’s Boxer breeding. Visiting their pups daily sparked my passion for this path. Then, in 2021, getting my first dog solidified my dream—I knew I wanted my own program, with a clear goal to work towards and refine. So, I then started researching, learning, and building the view of my program.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program stands out for its unwavering commitment to Health, Temperament, and Working Drive. I thoroughly select Breeding Pairs, Prioritize Health Testing, and here to provide Support to Puppy families. Each Pup will receive personalized care and socialization, setting the foundation for their success in various fields, from working roles to loving companionship.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Sporty Mix puppies are large size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Gerberian Shepsky puppies include black and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
