I'm Michelle B., the breeder behind Oakwood Bearded Retrievers located in East Liverpool, OH. When I was seeking a Bearded Retriever (Goldendoodle), it was impossible to find breeding geared toward performance. I did a lot of research, and in the end, found Oaklee. Oaklee's breeder did all of the right things and my sweet, furry companion has brought me so much joy.
Q. & A. with Michelle
Why did you start breeding?
My desire to stand Oaklee at stud came solely from the fact that I feel he has much to offer in the development of the Bearded Retriever breed.
What makes your program special?
I wish to help keep the Bearded Retriever a structurally and mentally sound dog to be used as performance and service dogs, as well as lovable family members.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
