Meet the breeder

I'm Rachel H., the breeder behind Olive & Co. Boston Terriers located in Dade City, FL. Olive & Co. is a small, intentional Boston Terrier program dedicated to raising healthy, well-structured, deeply loved companions. We focus on temperament first, raising each puppy in a nurturing environment where confidence, socialization, and connection are at the center of early development.

Q. & A. with Rachel

  • Why did you start breeding?

My husband and I got our first Boston Terrier, Olive, when we were newly married, and she completely stole our hearts. At two, we had a litter with her, which opened our eyes to responsible breeding. Olive & Co. was born from that experience, built on intention, care, and a deep focus on health, temperament, and raising happy, well-loved Boston Terriers.
  • What makes your program special?

It began with our Boston Terrier, Olive, who came from a backyard breeder later convicted of animal cruelty. That experience opened our eyes to what happens behind closed doors and changed everything for us. Olive & Co. was born from a desire to do better—focused on health, transparency, and raising Boston Terriers with intention, care, and integrity.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blue, red, seal brindle and white, seal and white, brindle and white, and black brindle and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Rachel

Rachel has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Rachel partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“At Olive & Co. Boston Terriers, we believe finding the right puppy is about more than color or markings. Our goal is to create lifelong matches that set both our puppies and their families up for success. Once puppies are old enough for their personalities to begin developing, approved families are invited to participate in a Zoom meet-and-greet where we discuss lifestyle, preferences, experience, and what they are hoping for in a companion. While we carefully consider each family’s preferences regarding gender, color, and markings, we also evaluate temperament, energy level, and overall compatibility. Because we know our puppies best, we provide guidance throughout the selection process to help families choose the puppy that is the best fit for their home. Our matching process is designed to ensure every puppy is placed where they will thrive and be loved for a lifetime.”
