I'm Katie M., the breeder behind Otter Bee Cavaliers located in South Beach, OR. All of our parent dogs are AKC registered, genetically clear, OFA health certified for heart, eyes, and patellas, and have Champion or Grand Champion bloodlines. Puppies are started with Early Neurological Stimulation, the Misty potty training method, and early socialization exercises.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Several years ago our entire family fell in love with our rescue cav mix from the humane Society named Ladybug and the addiction took root. We got our original stud, Bam Bam, for my cousin Tori and then we got our first girl, Pebbles. Since then we have done lots of health testing and have brought 4 beautiful litters into the world. We are a cavalier family for life :)

  • What makes your program special?

    We keep our adult dogs for life. They sleep in our bed with us and are fed real meat and other tasty food specially cooked for them in addition to 5 star rated kibble. We go above and beyond to ensure their health and wellbeing. We expect every puppy that we place to be just as spoiled and we do everything we can to ensure they have the absolute best chance at a long and healthy life.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Katie

Puppy prices include between $2,500 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
