• Why did you start breeding?

  I began my breeding career with Miniature Dachshunds in 1999 and although they are fabulous companions, let's just say I found them to be temperamental, difficult to potty train, and they just didn’t care whether I was happy with them or not. And finally decided to retire when we bought our current house as the carpeting needed replacing when we bought it and it would have been a futile attempt to keep breeding and at the same time maintain good carpeting! And one day, our oldest daughter presented us with her desire to buy a Golden Retrieve, it was an awesome presentation, a very convincing one! I’m going to attempt to make a long story short here: Beaux came into my life shortly after this grand presentation of “I’ll take care of him, I’ll house train him, I’ll vet him – yadda, yadda, yadda…” but I am sooooo glad she did because I was introduced to the most wonderful canine ever, Beauxreguard Cornelius Doo. (ok-the name was a total inside joke, and we NEVER thought it would need to be publicly displayed, but that’s another story) His intelligence far surpassed all my prior experience with his fellow canine constituents. His confirmation was jaw dropping. He was brains and beauty all rolled into one-and for what felt like a REALLY LONG time, the sharpest teeth I had ever experienced!! I was completely smitten with this breed because of Beaux, and well, that’s how this all began… I adore the Golden Retriever breed – they are the all American canine companion – the perfect one in my humble opinion – with one exception -the shedding factor…. Enter, the doodles… I lost my beloved Beaux in March of 2017, but not before he fathered two litters with a fellow breeder that produced Hollie and Stella, a new facet of my breeding program, one that sheds less but still maintains all the amazing qualities of the Golden Retriever persona...and that's how we ended up with Doodles, and a short jump took us to the classic Poodle!

• What makes your program special?

  I feel like my breeding program is special because I am able to breed a healthier puppy with each litter. Genetic testing is only in its infancy right now, but we are able to weed out a lot of heartbreak with the valuable knowledge that we get from the testing. I also feel that my effort in using PuppyCulture is setting the bar higher because our puppies are highly socialized, we begin litter box training and clicker training before they leave our home

• What are the different breed sizes in your program?

  Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

• Where do your breeding dogs live?

  They live in my home.
