I'm Suzanne Maxine U., the breeder behind Oui Bostons located in Houston, TX. I am a long time dedicated, reputable, and health testing breeder and exhibitor of AKC standard colored Bostons only. I am nationally and internationally recognized for producing verifiably health tested and top winning specimens of the breed for decades. I am a past 2 time Board member of the Boston Terrier Club of America and a founding member of the Greater Houston Boston Terrier Club that started in 1989. I have been a dog grooming shop owner since 1976. My dogs are all housepets but crate trained and puppies are raised in my bedroom.

“As a consideration, I may and most often may only have young adult dogs available up to 2-3 years old which may be retired champions, dogs with championship points or those I decided not to show. These dogs are socialized, microchipped, crate and leash trained, vaccinated as required and have had health tests such as patella {knee) and eye exams completed and may already be neutered. There is always a 2 week trial period on the adults to return, to be sure it will be a good fit for the family as well as the dog. If you are chosen for an available puppy he or she will be 9> wks old and comes with Bio-Sensor Super Puppy exercises, dewormed, socialized, AKC limited (Non-Breeding) registered puppy papers, 1st Parvo & Distemper Adenovirus vacs, vet checked well puppy exam, Ophthalmologist eye exam if appointment scheduling permits, pre-paid microchip, family tree, toys and Fromm Puppy Gold bag of food. A signed Lifetime Forever Return policy agreement is a must. $100 non refundable deposit after litter is born and 9 wks old, if there is your preferred sex of puppy available. Puppies are not promised until @9 wks when I have evaluated the litter for show potential puppies I may keep.”
Suzanne Maxine may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. Excellent level
Oui Bostons reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Boston Terriers.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
