Q. & A. with Tyre

  • What makes your program special?

One of the best things you can do is purchase a litter box trained puppy. All our pups are, and the difference is reflected in many of my fb reviews. My pups are also desensitized to sounds. We also practice ENS training, and encourage play thru various structures and setups.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, black and white, black and tan, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

I began my journey into Cavalier King Charles Spaniels without knowing much about the breed. Everything I read online emphasized the importance of health testing, but I wasn’t initially familiar with what that entailed. After doing more research, I learned about OFA certifications and the rigorous health testing that responsible breeders conduct. Determined to find a reputable breeder, I contacted at least 25 different breeders-most of whom never returned my calls or texts. While I did find some really good breeders out there, I was often met with long waiting lists, and some responses even felt dismissive or rude. Then I found Tyre at Palladino Cavaliers through GoodDog, and from the very first interaction, I knew she was different. She immediately reached out and invited me to call her. From our first conversation, I could tell she had an unmatched passion for the breed and a deep commitment to breeding Cavaliers with health as the top priority. Throughout the entire process, Tyre provided an incredible level of communication. She sent me countless videos and pictures of my puppy, answered every question I had, and genuinely made the experience enjoyable. One of the things that stood out most was her expertise in litter box training for puppies something I had never considered before. She explained how much easier it makes life with a puppy, and I can now confidently say she was 100% right! If you’re unfamiliar with this concept, I highly recommend watching videos on YouTube or better yet, just call Tyre for firsthand guidance. Another aspect that set Palladino Cavaliers apart is experience and reputation. Many breeders today are still establishing their programs and have limited reviews, which is understandable. However, I wanted a breeder with years of experience and a proven track record. Tyre has been dedicated to the breed for a long time, and her reputation speaks for itself. With nearly 50 Facebook reviews with 100% ratings and an updated website with extra pictures of my puppy, I felt completely reassured that I was working with a true professional who genuinely cares. If I could give six stars, I would! 🐶✨ Thank you, Palladino Cavaliers and Tyre, for making this experience truly unforgettable. I cannot recommend you highly enough!
