Meet the breeder

I'm PHYLLIS M., the breeder behind Pawjama Kennel located in Hull, MA. My dogs are bred first for health and temperment. I also breed for confirmation with an emphasis on graceful movement. I have been showing for over 20 years and the puppies I have are from a Grand Champion dam and Champion sire. Both are similar in confirmation and temperment and are of excellent health. My Lhasa's have lived consistently to 16 years old. My goals is to spred the love I have for the Lhasa and to breed your next long-time companion and best friend!

Why did you start breeding?
Until I took my first grooming class, all of my dogs had been rescues. My grooming instructor introduced me to her breed—the Lhasa Apso—and gave me my first Lhasa. I was instantly hooked, and the rest is history.
What makes your program special?
I don't breed to sell. I breed to carry on my line. But I can't keep them all so my hope is to find compatable and forever homes for my puppies.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red gold and golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from PHYLLIS

After buyers complete the application and screening process, PHYLLIS partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We match puppies carefully with buyers. We assess personalities of puppies up to 7-8 weeks and beyond if not purchased. Buyers are appraised of the unique features of the breed and their desire to be patient and loving as their puppy matures.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,800 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.
