I'm Michelle & Edward C., the breeder behind Peavine Creek Dachshunds located in Cherry Tree, OK. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy Dachshund pups for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We commit ourselves towards preparing each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always had animals in my life. I was raised on a cattle farm. We always had animals especially dogs that were members of our family. I wanted a smaller breed a few years ago and a friend raised miniature dachshunds. The moment I brought her home my love for this breed has changed my life. I never planned on breeding but I love to study genetics...still learning. I poured over anything I could to better understand what I needed to improve on. I have a wonderful mentor by a longtime dachshund breeder who has helped me learn and appreciate the value of genetic testing that is available to breeders now.

  • What makes your program special?

    I spend 24/7 with my dogs. They're part of our family and we are blessed to have them with us. We keep in contact with each family that has purchased a puppy and receive updates, photos on a regular basis. We have regular vet check ups and keep detailed records of our dogs. We continually look to the future of what sire or dam would enhance and improve our program.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, red, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Michelle & Edward

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Michelle & Edward partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“Price includes: Health certificate, age appropriate vaccinations and deworming. Registration paperwork (Akc) with limited or Full Akc can be discussed. We do offer pet only at a lower price without any registration and will be offered on occasion. We require a deposit after you select a puppy.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
