I'm Gerry B., the breeder behind Premier Rottweilers located in Charlevoix, MI. Our program is founded upon world-class, winning German genetics. We offer trainable family companions, work, and service dogs. We are a code of ethics breeders. Our emphasis is on quality over quantity. As a small kennel, we pay strict attention to temperament, trainability, health testing, and conformation. We prepare our puppies for a lifetime of companionship through temperament testing and various socialization methods.
Q. & A. with Gerry
Why did you start breeding?
The desire to produce top-quality Rottweilers for people who are seeking a service dog and lifetime companion is what inspired us to start our breeding program. We strive to be straight forward and honest in a dog world full of dishonesty and poor genetics. Thus, we understand the very important role that responsible breeders undertake; that being today’s breeders are the guardians of the future Rottweilers.
What makes your program special?
Our program is unique because of our quality dogs who both have and produce sound temperaments. Our dogs live with us and are a part of our everyday family life. We are very dedicated to what we do and what we are trying to achieve as breeders. We work with passion, heart, integrity, and truly want what's best for the Rottweiler line.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
