I'm Justin & Cecili C., the breeder behind Pups on the Ridge located in Neosho, MO. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. Raising puppies has been so much fun, although we take our role in raising them seriously. Breeding has helped us share the joy of our dogs with other families and individuals.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I was a professional rabbit and cavy (guinea pig) breeder for over 20 years. During that time I was able to develop 2 different color varieties that became recognized by the American Cavy Breeders Association. Due to life changes it has led me to dogs. We breed with the goal to better the breed while being able to provide high quality puppies to families that will love them as much as we do.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are our family. They live with us in the house and are given constant love and affection. We dont believe in over breeding and retire our dams early. Our puppies are played with daily in order to build their personalities and bond well with their new families. We also start potty pad training and kennel training so their transition is more seamless.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blenheim, ruby, tri-color, black and tan, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Justin & Cecili

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price guarantees the puppy to be current on all vaccinations and deworming at the time of pick-up. It also includes Registration application, a vet health check, 1 year genetic health guarantee and 30 days of puppy insurance. A non-refundable deposit of $250 will ensure your puppy will be held for you till the time of pick-up. Please contact us before placing a deposit to work out dates and both parties are in agreement."

Justin & Cecili may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Muscular Dystrophy (CKCS-MD), Episodic Falling Syndrome (EFS), Dry Eye Curly Coat Syndrome (CKSID), Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Justin is really on top of his breeding, from the time we first spoke I knew he was passionate about his animals. Being a long distance from us I was kinda worried but after talking with him & his wife I was satisfied I made a good choice.     Justin was so incredibly knowledgeable about the breed and helpful throughout this whole process.
