I'm Chris C., the breeder behind Purebred Dachshunds located in South Carolina. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. Our love for our dogs pushed us to begin breeding. We love to see the results of our efforts in the sweet, happy, and healthy puppies that we’re able to share with others.

Why did you start breeding?
My journey as a Dachshund breeder began with a deep passion for this unique breed. Dachshunds are known for their distinctive appearance, loyal nature, and strong personalities. My love for these dogs inspired me to start breeding them. As a responsible breeder, I prioritize the health and well-being of my dogs.What makes your program special?

Chris has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $500 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes first round of shots, worming, and proper socialization. Deposit will reserve your puppy until pickup date and is included in total.”
Contract & health guarantee
Chris may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. I’m so glad we chose Chris as our breeder. He offered to take any pictures or videos we wanted, we FaceTimed with Chris to meet our little guy (Hercules), he provided Hercule’s medical records, and Chris gave us a whole goody bag for Hercules. Chris is incredibly knowledgeable about Dachshunds and you can tell he breeds Dachshunds out of love for the breed.

Chris was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. You could tell how much he cares about his dogs and new puppies. We had several conversations and a Face Time prior to picking our little Max up when he was 9 weeks old. We had him to the vet for his check this past Monday. He is very active and healthy and weighs 6.3 lbs. He is a good healthy eater. We are working on potty training him and he is very cooperative. He knows his name and the command to sit. He understands NO and OFF. He is a real joy!

We have never had an experience like this before, Chris provided us with whatever we asked for and plenty of information about the breed. She is healthy and very playful but loves cuddles as well. We couldn’t have asked for a better breeder and pup!! We sure do love Stella and she loves playing with our other pup! She fits in to the crazy family very well
