I'm Reagan F., the breeder behind Rae of Sunshine Poms located in Yukon, OK. My love for Pomeranians began at age seven with my first companion, Foxy. Today, our family lovingly raises happy, healthy Pomeranian puppies in our home, focusing on socialization, manners, and health to help each one become a cherished and well-adjusted lifelong companion.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I became a breeder out of a deep, lifelong love for dogs—especially Pomeranians. Their spirited personalities, loyalty, and charm captured my heart from an early age. Breeding allows me to share that joy with others while promoting the health, quality, and beauty of this remarkable breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our breeding program special is the genuine love and care we pour into every Pomeranian. Each dog is raised as part of our family—nurtured, spoiled, and supported from day one. Our goal is to enhance the breed’s health, temperament, and beauty while sharing the joy these wonderful companions bring.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black parti, orange parti, lavender, cream, black, blue merle, and orange sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Reagan

Reagan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Reagan partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they're old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities, typically at least 8 weeks.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $400 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes first round of vaccinations, puppy welcoming bag, deworming, AKC registration paperwork for the AKC registered puppies. The $500 is to reserve the puppy and is included toward the price of the puppy.”

Reagan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
