Breeder of Cardigan Welsh Corgis

Meet the breeder

I'm Corbyn, the breeder behind RavenSong Cardigans located in Illinois. Home of Cardigan Welsh Corgis that excel just as well at binging Netflix with you as they do at conformation and performance. I am a preservation breeder and member of the Cardigan Welsh Corgi Club of America. My dogs are all fully health tested by CWCCA/Chic standards prior to breeding. I am active in performance and conformation.

Q. & A. with Corbyn

  • Why did you start breeding?

Mentored by a conformation breeder. I was formerly a Manchester Terrier breeder a couple of decades ago. When I got back into dogs, I chose Cardigan Welsh Corgis and now have another conformation breeder as my new mentor. I have not bred a CWC litter yet, and will not do so until my dogs are titled and fully health tested.
  • What makes your program special?

I follow current veterinary science and am always working to stay on top of current studies. I breed versatile dogs that are true to the breed's purpose. I breed for dogs that make good pets by having good temperaments, health, and structure. I prove my dogs' structure, temperament, and health via titles and definitive health testing.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
