JANET RAY has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, JANET RAY partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We believe the best matches are made based on personality, not just appearance. To help you get to know our puppies in a real, unscripted way, we provide all prospective buyers with 24/7 live access to our kennel cameras. This allows you to observe the puppies’ natural behaviors, energy levels, temperaments, and interactions at any time—day or night. Rather than selecting a puppy based solely on color or markings, we encourage families to take their time watching the puppies and identifying the one whose personality best fits their lifestyle and preferences. All interested buyers can request a private link to access the live cameras at any time. There is no deposit required to receive access—just reach out, and we’ll be happy to share the link. Once you feel confident in your choice, we’re available to provide guidance and insight to help ensure the best possible match. Our goal is to create lasting, successful placements by focusing on temperament, compatibility, and connection.”

“Price includes the puppy’s first vaccinations and vet check. Each puppy also comes with a starter pack of their current kibble, a blanket carrying mom’s scent, a familiar toy, and a t-shirt with my scent—helping them feel secure and comfortable in their new home. Once a deposit is made, you may choose or change your puppy’s name, & I will begin using it immediately. I also have a live-stream camera set up & you’ll receive an invite to watch your puppy anytime.”
JANET RAY may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If JANET RAY offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to JANET RAY directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.

Current status: growing puppies and stealing blankets 💕🐾 Momma Alla is officially settling into pregnancy life, and Dex has taken his support role very seriously. These two have become even more inseparable lately, and honestly… I’m not sure who’s cuddling who anymore 🥹 Puppy countdown continues ✨ Pregnancy update: 25 days down, approximately 38 to go 💕🐶 Momma weighed in at 27.2 pounds today. If you need us for the next month or so, we’ll be right here… buried under blankets and growing puppies 💕🐾✨

Momma is officially 25 days into her 63-day journey… and the snoring has begun 🤍🐾😂 Dex has always been the resident snorer in our house — but only when he’s touching me. I swear it’s his way of showing affection. If he’s asleep on the couch? Silent. At the foot of the bed? Quiet as can be. But the second he’s cuddled up against me at bedtime, the snores start rolling 😄 Tonight, though, I’ve got dueling snores in my bed, and I can only assume that means Mama’s belly is starting to fill up and put pressure in all the usual places 💕 She's not getting fat yet, but I see a roundness to her belly that isn't normally there These two are the sweetest pair, and every little change makes this journey feel more and more real. Puppy countdown continues 🐶✨

Momma weighed in at 26.4 pounds this morning, and she looks pretty darn proud of it. Whereas daddy Dex on the left, is always ashamed to have his photo taken. And they're cute little sister Zara on the right is over there saying "look how cute I am"

Alla's belly is starting to look a little full. :-)

Ms Alla is officially up to 25.2 pounds this morning — that’s another half pound since last week! At this rate, she’s going to be quite the little chunk by the time these puppies arrive… but she’s always been a naturally big, beautiful girl, so we’re perfectly happy to let her keep filling out while making healthy babies. 🐾 She’s also been extra sweet lately and definitely demanding more belly rubs than usual. Safe to say this mama-to-be is soaking up every bit of attention she can get right now. 💕 We can’t wait to meet these babies!

Quick little update on Alla! I realized it had been a bit since I last weighed her, so we did a check this morning—she’s currently 24.8 lbs. She’s always been on the larger, lankier side for a Boston, with those long legs and a more streamlined build (definitely not as stocky or muscular as Dex). Right now, her weight looks absolutely ideal for her frame. If timing lines up, she could be up to about 10 days along at this point, so we’re entering that early “wait and watch” phase. I’ll be keeping a close eye on her weight and overall condition as things progress, but for now she’s looking happy, healthy, and just as spunky as ever. More updates to come as we go—fingers crossed! 🐾

I get asked almost daily if I have a waiting list for puppies… and I’ve decided I no longer do. Here’s why 💕🐾 I used to run a traditional waitlist—applications, order in line, and then working my way down when puppies arrived. Honestly? It was incredibly time consuming and often frustrating. There were people who weren’t quite ready when their turn came, those waiting for a very specific look, and others who were on multiple breeders’ lists and had already found a puppy elsewhere. Some wouldn’t respond at all—even after days—or wouldn’t engage beyond “I want to buy a puppy.” Meanwhile, there were wonderful families ready and waiting who just weren’t in the “right spot” on the list. That never felt right to me. I spend months raising these babies. I pour my heart into them. Letting them go is never easy, and what matters most to me is knowing where they end up. One of my greatest joys is staying connected with my puppy families—watching them grow, getting updates and photos, and knowing they’re deeply loved. They truly remain part of my extended family and heart. Over time, I’ve also had to navigate scammers and people more interested in breeding rights than bringing home a beloved companion. That’s not what I’m about. So I’ve changed my approach. I don’t keep a formal waitlist anymore—I keep what I like to call a “vibe list.” The people who engage, who share their lives, who show me their current dogs, who build a connection with me—those are the homes I feel confident placing my puppies into. Those are the people I know I’ll stay in touch with. If we connect, if I feel comfortable, and I believe my puppies will be part of your life (and I’ll get to watch them grow along the way), you naturally rise to the top. So the short answer is: No, I don’t do a waitlist anymore. I do a vibe list 💕 And I wouldn’t have it any other way ❤️

“Describe your perfect date.” April 25th… because it’s not too hot, not too cold… all you need is a light sweater. Also apparently the perfect date for my Boston Terriers to fall in love 💅🐶 So yes… April 25th = successful matchmaking and we'll have puppies on the way. Stay tuned for tiny sweaters and even tinier snorts. 🐾
